A beautiful villa. We just spent four wonderful weeks at Villa Moscheni with a large group of our family and friends. The villa was beautiful and has been so lovingly restored. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the amazing garden, relaxing by the pool, our sailing trip along the coast of the Cinque Terre and exploring the delights of Lucca and the Tuscan countryside were some of the highlights of our time there. We would like to thank our charming and generous hosts, Paola and Mario, and the delightful managers, Genni and Dario as well as the staff, all of whom provided such wonderful service. All our family and friends are asking when we will be returning! October 20, 2018

This is my husband & my 2nd stay at Villa Moscheni. We absolutely love this stunning property! We and our 6 friends met Dr Trabucco at the Villa at the appointed time. The check in was easy & full tour was given for our guests. Dari is so knowledgeable about the area & gave us many suggestions. Our group wanted a pizza party so a chef was arranged to come to the Villa & use the catering kitchen that has a wood burning pizza oven! It was a fantastic & memorable evening! The Villa has been lovingly restored with all modern conveniences but still retains its former charm. This property is completely walled in & gated. We felt safe within our walls! My husband & I felt like royalty again staying here for 4 weeks. The rooms are large, lots of light & air conditioned, with beautiful frescos throughout. They are furnished beautifully with period furnishings including chests for hanging clothes in each room. Everything was very convenient. The kitchens were well stocked & I was able to cook several beautiful meals. The veranda was our favorite gathering area. In fact we are most of our home meals here. The views of the Lucca hills are just beautiful & mostly private from the back of the villa overlooking the formal gardens & fountain. We enjoyed the pool & found it well maintained. We had 4 cars & there was plenty of parking within the gates. We are planning our 3rd stay soon! September 23, 2018

The Ultimate Tuscan Experience This beautiful Villa is conveniently located close to the historic town of Lucca, but also quite convenient for day trips to Firenze, Sienna and Forte di Marmi. The property has been restored to perfection with amazing attention to details to perserve the integrity of this historic Villa but with all the modern conveniences. The grounds of the Villa are meticulously maintained with an beautiful pool to enjoy during your stay and a full gym within the Villa should you wish to have a workout and never leave the Villa. Although you are in the amazing Tuscan region you want to spend as much time as possible just being at the Villa with your friends and family. You can easily arrange for a variety of activities at the Villa with a guest favorite of hiring a Chef to prepare an amazing meal to enjoy on the outside veranda overlooking the property grounds, or even a fun game of Ping Pong. It truly is an exceptional Villa of very high standards but yet very warm and inviting. It was truly one of our most memorable holidays and we have already made arrangements to visit again in 2019. A treasured experience We were a party of thirteen, which is not always easy to accomodate. However we could not have been more comfortable at the villa. Every comfort is taken care of . The villa is stunningly beautiful and the staff are marvelous. I would highly recommend this villa. October 16, 2016

Historic Property Modern comforts There were 11 of us from two countries celebrating a family reunion. Our group ranged in age from 17- 62. The house was in excellent condition, totally clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The grounds and the pool were also very well cared for and the location was peaceful but not too far from some nice restaurants,stores and historic villas. The owners were lovely, most welcoming and easy to reach when needed. The house is great for a large group because the bedrooms are quite private and there are several different gathering places in the house but the best of all is the terrace off of the kitchen with the view of the hills. A Wonderful Place to Stay Villa Moscheni proved to be the perfect spot to host a large family reunion in Italy. With different arrivals and departures we were a group as small as 8 and as large as 19. The house was perfect for both the small and the large groups. The listing accurately describes the villa layout and location but I think the photos on the site don't really reflect how beautiful and comfortable the villa truly is. The large balcony overlooking the gardens and attached to the main kitchen was wonderful for our large family dinners. The pool area, looking out to the surrounding hills was beautiful. The nicely equipped gym was used extensively. The bedrooms, as well as the entire villa, were comfortably appointed and the attention to preserving the beautiful antique details of this historic villa was remarkable. The location in the suburbs of Lucca was perfect. Shopping for food and finding good local restaurants was very easy and convenient. It did not involve the usually difficult drive on narrow, winding country roads. Dario and Genni, the managers and Mario and Paola, the owners were the perfect hosts. They were always available to help and answer questions. I would highly recommend a stay at Villa Moscheni. September 25, 2017
